Flamingo Las Vegas is a casino hotel which is located on the Las Vegas Strip of Paradise, Nevada. This hotel casino is operated and owned by Harrah’s Entertainment. It stretches out to approximately 77,000 sq.ft including 3626 rooms in the hotel. Flamingo is the oldest resort that is currently being operated on the Strip. The third resort to open on the strip was Flamingo. Due to the neon pink color structure of this hotel, it is also referred to as the pink hotel. The architectural theme of this 15 acres site reminds us of the modern style and art deco of South Beach and Miami. Flamingos are exhibited in the central outdoor area as a part of wildlife habitat. It was once the home of penguins which have been moved to the zoo in Dallas.

It is billed as the most luxurious hotel in the world with 105 rooms and is the first luxury hotel that’s built on the strip. This was built around seven miles from Las Vegas Downtown. Siegel who opened this hotel named it after his girl friend Virginia Hill. She loved gambling and her nickname was Flamingo. Flamingo hotel takes all the glory and glamour of the older hotels at the same time giving it a special attraction of its own. A popular outdoor activity here is wildlife habitat, with various species of fish, exotic birds and turtles. There are various paths that give us a close view of the Chilean flamingos and African Penguins. This hotel initially featured 105 rooms with a luxurious range of services and activities that include health club, casino, steam rooms, gym, swimming pool, horse stable, handball courts, tennis courts, a trapshooting range and a 9-hole golf course. This hotel is more credited for the ‘complete Experience’ apart from gambling.
